Being a mom and having a full time job can be very tiring at times. Sometimes is hard to get home after 9 hours of work to two eager toddlers waiting for mommy, wanting to play and run around like two little energizer bunnies. And then have to make dinner and eat, and then play again a little. And prepare them for bed, then prepare lunch for the next day, exercise a little, and do whatever else needs to be done. But of course, you know all this already if you have little ones in your life!

And so I went into a search for strength today and found Isaiah 40:31:

“But those who trust in the Lord will become strong again.
They will be like eagles that grow new feathers.
They will run and not get weak.
They will walk and not get tired.”
Trust in the Lord and be strong!
Trust in the Lord and be strong!

And this is a very refreshing verse, that fills me up with hope and eagerness. And this in turn makes me feel very energised and ready to tackle anything and everything that comes in my way. I want to be strong and I want to be involved in my children’s lives. I want to hold them, hug them, kiss them, run with them, play with them, and I want them to know that I’m there for them whenever they need me. No matter the situation, I want to be their supermom so that they know that they can count on me forever.

I also want to be strong for my husband. He is very patience with me and loves me the way I am, and sometimes we (or me) don’t have the energy to be intimate after a long day. But I want to make time for whenever he needs me and and I want him to know that I’m there for him.

And I want to be strong for whatever comes our way in the near future. I have some many ideas that I want to start implementing in our lives, from eating healthier to starting a new business that I will need all the strength that God can give me to accomplish everything, and do everything right. But I know that God is with me and he will take care of me and my family. He loves us and will protect us and you too!
