Bible Challenge – Day 13 – My Help Comes From the Lord

Bible Challenge – Day 13 – My Help Comes From the Lord

Here’s a positive passage about our God, from Psalms 121:1-8:

I look up to the hills, but where will my help really come from?
My help will come from the Lordthe Creator of heaven and earth.
He will not let you fall. Your Protector will not fall asleep.
Israel’s Protector does not get tired. He never sleeps.
The Lord is your Protector. The Lord stands by your side, shading and protecting you.
The sun cannot harm you during the day, and the moon cannot harm you at night.
The Lord will protect you from every danger. He will protect your soul.
The Lord will protect you as you come and go, both now and forever!
Where will my help come from? My help will come from the Lord.

Where will my help come from? My help will come from the Lord.

As I’m learning more about God, I’m realizing that He has good things for us. And He wants only good things for us. He will protect us and will not let anything bad happen to us. How do we know this? Because it says so in the Bible, His book.

I know there are a lot of people that say they don’t believe in God because they cannot see him. But just because we can’t see something, it doesn’t mean that it’s not real. We can’t see the Oxygen we breath, but it’s in the air and without it, we couldn’t survive. So in theory, we live by faith because we really can’t be certain that there will be enough Oxygen for us to take the next breath.

I see God in this same light, I have faith in Him and because of my faith, I know He is real. And everything that He has promised, He will do.
