These last few years, I’ve thought of starting a business for my family but I still don’t know what type of business, when to start it or how to start it. So I keep an open mind about different ideas that come across me, or that I think of. I was listening to a wealthy person from Asia giving advice to the young (I’m not really sure what his name is though). Although I’m not that young, I still like to think that I’m young enough to do something else with my life rather than just work at a 8-4pm job. But this speaker said that when you are younger than 30 years old, which I am, to make as many mistakes as we can, and to learn from those mistakes.
I really like this advice because I’ve made a few mistakes that have molded me into the person I am today. Life has been challenging sometimes and I feel that is how God teaches us the lessons He wants us to learn, through challenges and mistakes. He loves me and I know He is always with me, and with you. We make decisions that affect our lives and God lets us make those choices because He wants us to be free. But He is always there to make sure that whatever we have to go through, we come out of it safe and a little wiser.
I really like today’s reading, it’s from Proverbs 3. It says “Those who find wisdom are fortunate; they will be blessed when they gain understanding (Proverbs 3:13)”. And the only way to obtain wisdom is through learning, either from our mistakes, from the mistakes of others, or from God. I’ve learned so many wonderful things from the Bible these last few days, and I hope that I’ve highlighted the best parts for you. But I also encourage you to read the Bible on your own and learn from our Father to avoid the mistakes He already foresees for us. And to follow Him and His advice.
